At Casino D’Primera (CDP) we teach our Salsa Casino classes in a group setting using the “Rueda de Casino” format. Why do we teach in “Rueda” format?.

Learn about “Lead” and “Follow”: Our goal at CDP is to make sure we teach our students how to dance well in a social setting. We emphasize for the ladies to learn the ability to “follow” and the men to learn how to “lead”. By using the “Rueda” format you are constantly switching partners and therefore forced to practice following and leading with your dance partner. Through this, the students learn to be able to dance with anyone and not just a set partner. .

Improve your social skills: It’s fun to learn with others, you enhance relationships and you create new ones with groups of people from all different walks of life. After all, Bailando Se Pasa Mejor.

Learn about “La Rueda de Casino”: We teach using the “Rueda de Casino” format to pay homage and keep alive this Cuban tradition.
